Tallinn features the Grammy Award–winning Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir (EPCC), founded in 1981 by Tõnu Kaljuste. The choir’s repertoire ranges from Gregorian chant and Baroque music to contemporary compositions, in particular from Estonian composers.

The EPCC is a prolific and acclaimed recording ensemble. The choir won two Grammy Awards for Best Choral Performance: one for Arvo Pärt's Da Pacem, conducted by Paul Hillier, and another for Arvo Pärt’s Adam’s Lament, conducted by Tõnu Kaljuste. In total, the choir has 15 Grammy Award nominations and numerous other accolades, including being named one of the 10 best choirs in the world by BBC Music Magazine.
